There, that final drop

Regardless of whether you like it or not, there is a point where you accept a thing as practical and move on. Of course, that is the way of life. Isn't? One good thing about this being practical is that accepting and following it doesn't trouble your conscience that much and can let you continue to be happy. There could be only very few who would have loved it and others had no choice, just like no escape from the death, other than accepting it. "It" is also one of such things that you accept very early in our life. It is not impossible to be with something you hate, and equally, it is impossible to be with something you love too, forever. No matter where you are in, it is always the mixture of these two, the love and the hate. Fortunately, the more you admire the things you love the more you ignore the things you hate. Of course, lesser hates get ignored in the midst of real hates. That is how "it" gets ignored and doesn't even require any special tr...

I am the born ordinary

Dreams! Dreams? Had she born in my neighbourhood I would have dreamed of spending my whole life with her and would have done everything to achieve it. But I was born in a place where nobody even hear about these Miss Universe-s. Had I played football with Maradona in our streets I would have become the hero of all football players. But I played street cricket like every other kids in my school days. My parents, neighbourhood, school... none of them were my choice. I think of these "this" and "that" all the time. It is my birthright to worry, fear, cry... about these impossibles. You know, I am an ordinary man. I am a grownup now. I can choose my college and career. Of course, I consult with my parents and friends but I don't allow them to decide, after all, this life is going to be my dream and I'll control every bits of my destiny from now onwards. I find my choices are no different from others. Of course, it is the same people and the organised society ...

Poisson d’Avril

I can make you an April Fool. Can't I? "Hey, Cockroach" is the simplest thing that works on --90% of the girls. The electronic bugs are for sure laugh, even 60% of the guys fail to recognize it. But I guess this is a bit old trick which may not work now as the girls of our generation are very intelligent and brave, of course, just like every other things we can take --nn% for exception. So let me not try to fool them and concentrate only on the boys around here :) I don't have to think much to list the tricks that I can try as the simple "How To Make Someone April Fool" ( https://www.google.co.in/?#q=How+To+Make+Someone+April+Fool ) search on google throw enough pranks that I can play. Let me try the one that I think will surely work. I guess you will get my trick even before you complete reading all the paragraphs. Have you seen kids throwing ink and colour water on their friends' shirt on April 1st? Staining someone's shirt (white school uniform...

Have I lost myself in me?

You will meet only very few people in your life who come into your life from nowhere and touch your heart and stay there forever. She is surely one of those I met. She couldn't have attracted me with just the typical brahmin style bindi on her forehead, the lean body, the heartwarming smile. But I had nothing else to say too. She was my class teacher from 4th to 7th standard and she was my inspiration to do well then. Whenever I think of her, I could just see the same face again in my imagination as if I am just talking to her now. Of course, I never met her after I left the school :( Though I was not a great fan of kite flying, I used to join my friends and play during the windy days. We collect broken tube lights and powder them with the help of big stones around. We boil arrow root powder with vajram and mix it with kesari powder and the tube light powder to make maanja for the kite threads - we never did kite fighting though! I guess all the kite flyers who used maanja coate...

Unveil your Magic

That is what the Creation is! There is a magic in everything and everywhere. When the seed sees the tree, when the caterpillar take the wings and fly, when the cloud drops the rain... you experience the magic. It takes orderliness. It needs patience. It requires endurance. It accepts self-destruction. When it is done, it is the unseen - the magic. Every single soul of this universe is made capable of producing magics of its own. An ordinary lawyer's son crossed the borders of the mighty British rule to meet the man who could never be removed from the history books of our time, Adolf Hitler. There was a journey through the mystery lands of Afghanistan and Russia where none - the language, the people, the weather ... were native to him. And then gaining the Japanese support! That Indian National Army of Nethaji's was a magic. Magic for you and me. It was really a spirited fight of the warrior to make his dream come true. From the little fi...

New Year Resolution 2015

Another new year, another ( same! ) set of new year resolutions. I wanted to read Thirukural and set target 50 last year but couldn't achieve it. But then I used one Kural in my every blog post . New Year Resolution List: For year 2016, I should shorten it to at least 1/3 of this list. At least, make it more readable ;) Reading Books: Book reading is going to be reduced this year. I am planning to reread few of the books I read last year. Of course, will find time to read books suggested by friends. I have got Bhagavad Gita tamil version from my friend and might read this before the end of 2015. I Am Malala, The Last Temptation of Jesus Christ, Mossad, 'The Madman, The Forerunner, Spirits Rebellious', Yudhargal Varalaarum Vaazkaiyum, If You Meet The Buddha On The Road Kill Him are few of the books I enjoyed reading. By the way, I have changed the FB album title from "Books I read" to "Books I read - Not To Be Shared" ;) Accounting: How difficu...
