There, that final drop

Regardless of whether you like it or not, there is a point where you accept a thing as practical and move on. Of course, that is the way of life. Isn't? One good thing about this being practical is that accepting and following it doesn't trouble your conscience that much and can let you continue to be happy. There could be only very few who would have loved it and others had no choice, just like no escape from the death, other than accepting it. "It" is also one of such things that you accept very early in our life.
It is not impossible to be with something you hate, and equally, it is impossible to be with something you love too, forever. No matter where you are in, it is always the mixture of these two, the love and the hate. Fortunately, the more you admire the things you love the more you ignore the things you hate. Of course, lesser hates get ignored in the midst of real hates. That is how "it" gets ignored and doesn't even require any special training. The time takes care of it.
You wish to be away from a thing doesn't mean that there is a fault with the thing itself. You may not wish to use the colour black just because it is associated with death, bad and evil. You may not find anything wrong with "it" too. But when you realize what "it" means, you wanted to run away from "it".
How lovely it is to watch the school kids marching in their school uniform! I am sure your kid looks so gorgeous in his uniform and no wonder you have taken lots of photos of him in that royal look, perhaps your dad too did the same thing for you. Now you know it would take more than a decade to drop the uniform and be free. The day may come in your school/college/work but there is a greater hidden joy in that day.

New Year Resolution 2015

Another new year, another ( same! ) set of new year resolutions. I wanted to read Thirukural and set target 50 last year but couldn't achieve it. But then I used one Kural in my every blog post . New Year Resolution List: For year 2016, I should shorten it to at least 1/3 of this list. At least, make it more readable ;) Reading Books: Book reading is going to be reduced this year. I am planning to reread few of the books I read last year. Of course, will find time to read books suggested by friends. I have got Bhagavad Gita tamil version from my friend and might read this before the end of 2015. I Am Malala, The Last Temptation of Jesus Christ, Mossad, 'The Madman, The Forerunner, Spirits Rebellious', Yudhargal Varalaarum Vaazkaiyum, If You Meet The Buddha On The Road Kill Him are few of the books I enjoyed reading. By the way, I have changed the FB album title from "Books I read" to "Books I read - Not To Be Shared" ;) Accounting: How difficu...

My Book Shelf - Year 2017

I find it difficult to get this reading order. And I guess it would be still harder to read them without changing the order. I may allow one or two new books to be included in this list, if required. Share book reviews and ratings with Kovil Pillai, and even join a book club on Goodreads.
