Distance = Speed X Time. Given any two of the three values, getting the third one is extremely simple and does't require any help from my three years mathematics degree. I don't know the exact distance that I need cover to cross the road and avoid the vehicle coming at the unknown speed from the unknown distance. I neither know my speed nor I know the time I have. I generally go with my instincts and it worked so far ;) Whether it is based on our past history or the history written for us, our instincts works in a marvelous way. Of course, it dies at the moment when we start questioning its trueness. The median strip here is so wonderful with lush green covered everywhere and a few scraggly little bushes here and there and a row of wild trees. What if I see a snake on a random day?
