Beyond Survival

How blessed your life is! There are people to take care of you even before you know yourself, if not God, it starts from your parents. You find friends. You learn from teachers. You meet people who can guide you. You are given laws and rules to live better life. If you look a little deeper you will realise that everyone and everything are actually preparing you to survive better in this world.

No doubt, you still make your impression on the things you do. You still grow and reach higher states. Yet it is only on the same survival ground but at different level. You go on surviving until the eventuality releases you from the pangs of dragging life. No matter how comfortable, how successful the walk of your life is, if the road is paved by someone else and you are directed on it, then I call it a survival walk, survive to show your presence to the world. Can you escape from this and walk on your own direction? Definitely yes, that is what called as dreams and that is what meant to be the completeness of life itself. Your dream not necessarily go down in history as one of the greatest realisations. It could just mean nothing to everyone else. That is the very nature of it.

Beyond Survival

What are your dreams? Nobody can see and tell you that. Nor you know it before it hits you - just like a girl from nowhere, matching none of the guy's expectations and wishes, entering into his life and instantly mean everything to him. Take time, pay attention and be mindful of your inner conversation because that is where your dreams are waving its hands to you. It is a mystery that it is designed in this way. But then that is how it is. Don't let them wither away by not listening to them. There is a new happiness - you redefine happiness when you walk on your dreams.

You are absolutely capable of following your dreams. Beware of dream crushers. This world can effortlessly knock your dream right out of you. Because the dream doesn't have past. The path would be unclear and the lost paths would haunt you. Your faith would be shaken. But fear not, it is always the magic. Once you are in, the dreams can propel you forward. The more you trust the more the realisation of it. Go on, trust God, He is the ultimate gap filler when you know not what to do. There is no losing. There is no survival. There is only living. Don't let your dreams get buried in the graveyard, unnoticed. Live your dream, YOUR life!

Stop & Listen

Source: Email forward A man sat at a metro station in Washington DC and started to play the violin; it was a cold January morning. He played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time, since it was rush hour, it was calculated that thousand of people went through the station, most of them on their way to work. Three minutes went by and a middle aged man noticed there was musician playing. He slowed his pace and stopped for a few seconds and then hurried up to meet his schedule. A minute later, the violinist received his first dollar tip: a woman threw the money in the till and without stopping continued to walk. A few minutes later, someone leaned against the wall to listen to him, but the man looked at his watch and started to walk again. Clearly he was late for work. The one who paid the most attention was a 3 year old boy. His mother tagged him along, hurried but the kid stopped to look at the violinist. Finally the mother pushed hard and the child continued to walk tur...
