Is the Titanic Real?

Even if it is few strangers talking standing next to you, is it not natural to join the conversation if it is an interesting one? Well, if not active participation at least you will participate passively. Don't you? I mean, more than just listening, you tend to form your views within yourselves without even uttering a word. A kid (2nd standard?) and his father got into the bus at Kamarajapuram bus stop and got seat next to mine and it just started drizzling then.

Kid: Why is it raining as soon as we get on the bus?
His dad answered. I smiled.

Kid: Why are clouds black?
We both answered. He answered in simple terms.

Kid: When will it stop?
We answered.

Kid: What is the rain that break the glasses?
According to the kid, we both got it wrong and right answer was not revealed :(

...

Kid:
There was some answer. It is more than a drizzle yet the Velachery railway station ground is full of young cricketers. I too love playing like that.

...

Kid: Why so much water on this road?
He gave a reason. I got blaming tone.

Kid: It is raining but why do people move so slowly?
Traffic. Phoenix Mall.

Kid: Why you didn't bring the umbrella?
He asked the same. I smiled.

குழல்இனிது யாழ்இனிது என்பதம் மக்கள் மழலைச்சொல் கேளா தவர். How true it is! This little angel doesn't even need words to make you laugh.

DreamingAway: Is the Titanic real

That was Guindy but I guess they would have continued like that at least till T.Nagar. I thought I would write this as a blog not when I was mesmerized by the cute little expressions and questions of the kid but it was afterwards when I felt his dad was very rare one. He had so much patience and he was answering all the questions with utmost care. He never attempted to divert the conversation and there was no meaningless answers. When the dad opens up his heart and hugs his kid with love, the strength of it is unmatched, even that of mother's love! This kid got such a great dad!

New Year Resolution 2015

Another new year, another ( same! ) set of new year resolutions. I wanted to read Thirukural and set target 50 last year but couldn't achieve it. But then I used one Kural in my every blog post . New Year Resolution List: For year 2016, I should shorten it to at least 1/3 of this list. At least, make it more readable ;) Reading Books: Book reading is going to be reduced this year. I am planning to reread few of the books I read last year. Of course, will find time to read books suggested by friends. I have got Bhagavad Gita tamil version from my friend and might read this before the end of 2015. I Am Malala, The Last Temptation of Jesus Christ, Mossad, 'The Madman, The Forerunner, Spirits Rebellious', Yudhargal Varalaarum Vaazkaiyum, If You Meet The Buddha On The Road Kill Him are few of the books I enjoyed reading. By the way, I have changed the FB album title from "Books I read" to "Books I read - Not To Be Shared" ;) Accounting: How difficu...

My Book Shelf - Year 2017

I find it difficult to get this reading order. And I guess it would be still harder to read them without changing the order. I may allow one or two new books to be included in this list, if required. Share book reviews and ratings with Kovil Pillai, and even join a book club on Goodreads.
