Ye Maaya Chesave

Is it really easy to define goals for your life? When can you decide it, school days, college days, in your thirties, fifties? Not everyone can think of long term goals. Not everyone can achieve their goals either. Because Science is allowed to redefine things. Life is full of surprises. Every magic moment is loveable. It is alright to listen to it and follow it.

Had Hitler had goals? How about king Ashoka? There were magic of life that directed the goals. It is hard to believe, Hitler, man of his caliber, miscalculated the Russian weather. Take it as a life's magic on its negative role. The other side is for Ashoka. Kalinga war was the magic in his life.

There is one simple thing you can do. Take life phase by phase as it comes. Hold the responsibility for the moments when it is given to you (!). Do things whole heartedly. The more you submit yourself to the things you do, the more magic moments will come into your life and sweeter the so called achievements. Blessed are those who are given a chance to be part of life changing triggers - the ultimate satisfaction.

There are moments where you need to abolish what you call as yourself and move into a new of you. You need to relinquish all that you prepared for your life. Yet it may not be painful. It is a surprise given. They fill you with the momentum, direction to reach new heights. These triggers, these surprises, these magic moments are treasures of your life.

A little kid waving his hands could change a thief - no words, no crying, no smiling... it just could happen. The magic moment! Reading a book that you accidently got could trigger a change in your dream. That is a magic! Boring elderly person sitting next to you in an hour of journey might leave you a message that surprises and redefines everything for you. That is a magic moment! There are so many beautiful, brilliant ... girls in this world. Why should these n girls (true love when n = 1) do a bit of magic in your heart and change your whole world? Yes, that is a magic. Never question it as all answers can be proven wrong - someone, something does this magic, just go and live the magic moments!

New Year Resolution 2015

Another new year, another ( same! ) set of new year resolutions. I wanted to read Thirukural and set target 50 last year but couldn't achieve it. But then I used one Kural in my every blog post . New Year Resolution List: For year 2016, I should shorten it to at least 1/3 of this list. At least, make it more readable ;) Reading Books: Book reading is going to be reduced this year. I am planning to reread few of the books I read last year. Of course, will find time to read books suggested by friends. I have got Bhagavad Gita tamil version from my friend and might read this before the end of 2015. I Am Malala, The Last Temptation of Jesus Christ, Mossad, 'The Madman, The Forerunner, Spirits Rebellious', Yudhargal Varalaarum Vaazkaiyum, If You Meet The Buddha On The Road Kill Him are few of the books I enjoyed reading. By the way, I have changed the FB album title from "Books I read" to "Books I read - Not To Be Shared" ;) Accounting: How difficu...

My Book Shelf - Year 2017

I find it difficult to get this reading order. And I guess it would be still harder to read them without changing the order. I may allow one or two new books to be included in this list, if required. Share book reviews and ratings with Kovil Pillai, and even join a book club on Goodreads.
