Jenny will come

How do you feel when someone gets huge money in a lottery? You know the Gnanapazham story. Don't you? Who deserves it? Lord Muruga or Lord Vinayaka? Do you need luck to be wiser?

If you read newspaper regularly you might have noticed this: at least one news in a week about Dayanidhi Maran's activities, not only when he was a Minister of Communications and IT, even now, as a Union minister for Textiles. He got such a great talent and vision on what he is doing! But then, is he not just one of those luckiest persons to be in the parliament? Can't you point a person better than him in India? Probably, they have all taken different business and different strategy or they had no luck to be in politics.

Can you deny luck? It is impossible. Because, you have to start giving reasons. You can say, he has done X and Y so well or you can say, scientifically, that the combination of X chromosome and Y chromosome would make a person behave this much brilliantly. You can immediately notice that this reasoning brings another set of questions that grows exponentially in every direction. Nobody will ever be lucky to find a person who knows it.

You need luck. How will you get it? How can you be lucky? That is a beauty of life - noblest things are never buyable. They just come on your way. Just listen to your heart and coordinate with your mind - that is called passion, and you will get it. Keep playing the music, awards will come. Keep experimenting, 1000th attempt might be a successful one to bring light. Dream of Das Kapital, Engels will come and so Jenny.

New Year Resolution 2015

Another new year, another ( same! ) set of new year resolutions. I wanted to read Thirukural and set target 50 last year but couldn't achieve it. But then I used one Kural in my every blog post . New Year Resolution List: For year 2016, I should shorten it to at least 1/3 of this list. At least, make it more readable ;) Reading Books: Book reading is going to be reduced this year. I am planning to reread few of the books I read last year. Of course, will find time to read books suggested by friends. I have got Bhagavad Gita tamil version from my friend and might read this before the end of 2015. I Am Malala, The Last Temptation of Jesus Christ, Mossad, 'The Madman, The Forerunner, Spirits Rebellious', Yudhargal Varalaarum Vaazkaiyum, If You Meet The Buddha On The Road Kill Him are few of the books I enjoyed reading. By the way, I have changed the FB album title from "Books I read" to "Books I read - Not To Be Shared" ;) Accounting: How difficu...

My Book Shelf - Year 2017

I find it difficult to get this reading order. And I guess it would be still harder to read them without changing the order. I may allow one or two new books to be included in this list, if required. Share book reviews and ratings with Kovil Pillai, and even join a book club on Goodreads.
