Hurray! It's scala today

I think that one must be very fortunate to meet so many good people in every walk of their life. It is so wonderful if some of them can make you to listen and guide you. And I love to spend my time with them, especially if they have a command over the language. One of my college professors is of that kind.

I met him recently and we were talking about so many things - politics, sports, religion... somewhere he made this comment: "You ought to share - rather throw - your thoughts and knowledge at someone's mind whenever you get a chance, doesn't matter whether that person need it now or not. Because our 'remembering' system has tremendous power and can recollect things which you believe you never 'registered'. It could be your thought that might be used somewhere on some other day"

I went home after a long discussion with him. And I was checking Scala

Source: Email forward A man sat at a metro station in Washington DC and started to play the violin; it was a cold January morning. He played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time, since it was rush hour, it was calculated that thousand of people went through the station, most of them on their way to work. Three minutes went by and a middle aged man noticed there was musician playing. He slowed his pace and stopped for a few seconds and then hurried up to meet his schedule. A minute later, the violinist received his first dollar tip: a woman threw the money in the till and without stopping continued to walk.
